Meadham Kirchhoff Spring 2014 Collection

I should really do these posts more often.

This new collection is really neat. The inspiration, IMHO, clearly comes from traditional Romanian costume, vampires, and Bram Stoker's Dracula. According to Style.com, it pays homage to the Elizabethan/Jacobean era. Kirchhoff explained that Elizabeth the I only wore black, white, red and gold, and that if she were still alive, she would have liked the loud python swing coat you can see below.

Who doesn't love Leeloo Dallas Multipass Orange? That's right: NOBODY.

These bat sunglasses have to be the best part. I want a pair so bad!
Their actual website currently features nothing more than a short fashion film depicting their current (Fall 2013) collection, which is lovably Marie Antoinette/Versailles-themed.

Totally over-the-top and not afraid to pretend they're dressing tacky deceased monarchs? Absolutely love it.
